Downloading Images | |
|
Netscape and some other browsers have a very simple way to save files
from the archive. On Netscape you can right-click (option-click for Macs)
over the image and get a menu for that image. One of the options is to save
the image. Some browsers will allow the even easier Drag and Drop
saving of the image.
|
|
Some older browsers however don't have these neat features. For those
working with one of these browsers, each image has a link (or in
some rare instances
you can click on the actual image). To download
the image, set your viewer to "save to disk." Click the link
to download. On still others, click the link and allow the image to
load. Then select "Save As" from the menu.
|
| Some browsers can handle more than one of these... find which method you are most comfortable with. And of course, if you have any questions not answered in the help, please feel free to contact me. |

The Design Sets should be retrieved using the above instructions for each of the images in
the set. There are only about 6 images per set. There is no ZIP file for the sets for a
couple specific reasons. The first is our bandwidth... downloading another file uses up more
of our resources for the server. The second, is your time. By right clicking on the images,
you are only retrieving them from your cache, not downloading them again... this speeds the
process of getting the images from our site.

You can also grab whole groups of images from Realm Graphics by
downloading ZIP files. There is a ZIP file for each of the
main sections: icons, bullets, buttons, and lines. Backgrounds
are further divided into sections to keep the file size of the
ZIP reasonable. All of the ZIP files can be obtained on the main
page of that section... look for the little purple ZIP flag.
No ZIP file exists for the 24 hour art as this is a special
purpose section. For more information on ZIP file please see the
ZIP Help file.
